WHY YOU SHOULD TRAVEL NOW???
I’m sure that “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer”
So let’s talk today about why you should travel today and don’t wait until retirement :).
Here few reasons:
1. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
REALIZE YOUR DREAM – TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD TODAY. Everybody dreams about something, but how many people realize their dream?
We always think that we will do it in the future. Time flies fast. Life is too short to spend dreaming about something. I always felt it’s better to try to make your dreams a reality, than doing nothing at all. Do it now!
Traveling will give you memories you will never forget. It will open the door to the beautiful world we live in. Look at this world with your own eyes.
2. “Investment in travel is an investment in yourself” – Matthew Karsten
We earn money to pay bills and invest them to gain profit. Some people will buy TVs to have in each room or more pairs of shoes and clothes, other will buy something new just because they don’t like an old thing anymore. But for me personally, the best investment is invest in travel – investment into my own memories and experience. If you want to invest your money, start traveling now! I will repeat it again “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer”
3. “You don’t have to be rich to travel well.” – Eugene Fodor
TRAVELING IS AFFORDABLE FOR EVERYONE! Among the many misconceptions and myths about travel, dominated by the assertion that traveling it is not available to everyone, that you have to spend a lot of money to be able to travel. But this is not the case, it is possible to travel combining reasonable cost, acceptable comfort and safety. That’s why I started this blog to show you how you can afford travelling more for less money.
I’m all about creating your own trips (that’s why you will not see all inclusive packages on my blog). I like putting my initial ideas together, planning the itinerary, searching for affordable tickets, comfortable accommodation and tours at reasonable prices. If I can find anything for FREE – even better! Information is the key.
You don’t have to travel far; sometimes a weekend trip to a nearby city is all it takes.
4. “A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.” – Tim Cahill
While traveling you can meet new people, experience other cultures, expand new horizons. You can learn so many amazing stories about our world.
A journey is not measured in steps but by the people you met while traveling. Did you ever think about it? Did you notice that satisfaction of your trip depends on people you meet during your trip? If you meet nice, smiling, helpful people while traveling – you will come back and would say “This country is amazing! I love this city or place”. But if people are not nice, rude and don’t care – you will not advise your friends this place to visit. It’s an awesome opportunity to peek in and learn amazing stories of their lives.

5. “Let me be a free man – free to travel, free to stop, free to work” – Chief Joseph
Everyone wants to be free. Free in your choices, schedule, to do whatever you like and when you want to do it.
In our daily life we rarely feel freedom. Even people with a free schedule like freelancers can not say that are fully free. We all have obligations like cooking dinner, meeting with customers, cleaning your home, meeting your relatives etc. Every day we are confronted with certain obligations that blunt our freedom.
In travel, even for a short period, we feel freedom! We can go to the beach or stay at the hotel, we are free to choose a place to eat, we do not have the schedule, we completely rely on our desires and choices! The feeling of freedom increases all experience!
If you want to feel free you should start traveling now!
6. Traveling is very easy today
Can you imagine traveling at the time of Jules Verne or Christophe Colomb? Internet did not exist, no books or manuals how to book the trip, too. The trip really could be a dangerous adventure.
Now when we have access to all knowledge on the Internet, traveling has become easier than making an omelette!
Thousands of blogs, forums and articles will tell you how to prepare the trip, where to find tickets, accommodation etc, where to go and what to see. You can find instructions, tips and ask questions an experienced traveler or a travel agent. You can virtually visit the city, see the streets and even virtually walk on it, see the gallery of any museum, visit places virtually, read travel reviews of hotels, cafes, tours and much more. Travel became easier than ever.
It’s only your choice: to know every detail and be prepared to travel or leave the intrigue and plunge into the unknown.
7. Traveling is the best education you can get.
While traveling you will learn a lot. You will never get these lessons in a school. Traveling is the best way to get to know what it’s all about: how people look like on another continent, what people wear, how they talk, how they live, cultural difference, the local cuisine and much more.
Reading about Machu Picchu, Grand Canyon, The Colosseum or Notre Dame is cool but seeing them in person? It’s completely different, isn’t it?
After studying a language in school, the best way to practice is with native speakers. The same with traveling, you can read many guidebooks but able to see it, it’s completely different. I agree with Mary Anned Radmacher who said that “I am not the same, having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.”
You will learn more about other people but the most important – you will learn so much about yourself.
But when it comes to learning about life, there is nothing more enriching than traveling. Travel today and you will see changes in yourself very soon.
What do you think? Do you feel re-changed every time you travel?
